Clausing sells parts, including the gears, but I've found them to be very pricey as already mentioned... was surprised at some of the parts that are no longer available, including handles and wipers. As for prices, $1500 - $2000 in working order seems to be the norm; I've seen asking prices higher, and distressed machines go for much less.

Clausing 8520. Let me start by saying I'm not a machinist. I messed with the Bridgeport at work a little, that's about the limit of my knowledge. I have an 8520. The MT2 spindle will limit your tool choices quite a bit. Other than that it's a good solid mill. Clausing hasnt made this model in 30 years, but they still have parts & support.
