Bass Point Quarry extracts hard rock (primarily latite) to produce construction grade aggregate for a range of uses and is situated adjacent to the Tasman Sea, South Pacific Ocean, Shellharbour, NSW. The quarry is also situated adjacent to Killalea Lagoon, which presented the key hydrogeological issue requiring assessment.
